this is a lot of what i have been doing at work the past month. we design something custom. write a spec for it. send it to our purchasing agent. they write a purchase order. we approve it. make sure what they are ordering matches our design and spec. the manufacturer sends us a shop drawing (as seen above) and we review it to make sure they are making the piece just how we want it to look. the manufacturer then sends us finish samples for approval. long, long process. but it helps to guarentee you are getting the product you originally designed. just thought i would share what i have been up to at good old looney and associates. :) its good times. good times.
