PS. My roommates might think I am a little too obsessed with her, but Tori loves her just as much as I do :)

i LOVE the color purple. not only because it is go frogs, but also....

Purple is the color of good judgment. Purple has been used to symbolize magic and mystery, as well as royalty. Being the combination of red and blue, the warmest and coolest colors, purple is believed to be the ideal color. Most children love the color purple. Purple is the color most favored by artists. Thursday's color is purple. and today is Thursday!

Beatrice the Butterfly!!
Patti, my mom's best friend, who is like a mother to me, sent me a butterfly to work today!

I never knew you could send someone a butterfly, but it has TOTALLY made my day!
Her sweet note encouraged me by saying that God's very best was to come for me and to watch and wait!
Here she is, below...Beatrice, that is. When I bring her home, I am instructed to take the plastic wrapping off and:
"The chrysalis will emerge on November 1st give or take a day or two.
Place it where you can see and enjoy its beauty as it emerges!
Watch it for up to two hours as its wings expand and harden, then release it outdoors.
I am reading up on how I will see Beatrice change over the next week:
When the time for the caterpillar to turn into a butterfly it must go through a pupa stage. This is where they spin a chrysalis or cocoon. This the cocoon goes through three stages. The first stage is called the fresh pupa where the cocoon is green and rough. The stage is where the cocoon stays green but the outside becomes smooth. When the caterpillar has finished metamorphosis, (changing), into a butterfly, the cocoon will become clear and have no color.

Beatrice will end up looking like this! A beautiful monarch. I will surely be sad to see her leave.
I will be sure to post pictures when she emerges and is a big beautiful butterfly!
